Beijing Talk on Multiculturalism 2015/10/23   Beijing Talk on Multiculturalism Mark was invited by the Chinese Foreign Experts Bureau to give a talk on multiculturalism and read from his latest book, An Obama’s Journey (Also known as Cultures). The occasion was the event My Foreign Teacher and I. This competition solicited essays from over 50,000 mainland Chinese students and their foreign teachers, with awards presented after Mark’s discussion. The Foreign Experts Bureau is a branch of the Chinese Foreign Affairs Ministry, responsible for inviting and hosting foreign experts in China.
